Valley Host Family Needed For German Exchange Student Enrolled At Mount Si Next Year

Local  members of the International Student Exchange Program are looking for a valley host the family for upcoming 2012-13 school year.  There is international student enrolled next year, but some unforeseen circumstances have left organizers looking for a new host family.

A host family is needed for Nils, a 17-year-old boy from Germany who will be enrolled as a senior at Mount Si High School next year.  His interests include fishing, camping and school activities. He plays the drums in his school band in Germany and hopes to do the same here.

The host family is expected to provide a bed (room could be shared with another teen boy) and meals eaten in the home.  He will have his own spending money for all other expenses and full insurance.  His English is good and he’s a good student.  Host families do not need to have teenagers of their own.  Young families and empty-nesters also make great host families.

If you are interested in becoming an international host family or for more information about hosting Nils,  please email janellgregson@yahoo.com.
