Undefeated Mount Si Basketball hosts home playoff game February 1st, last game ever for current gymnasium

The final basketball game ever in the current Mount Si High School gymnasium happens this Friday, February 1st at 7PM. It’s both a little nostalgic and historic. That means the school and supporters are hoping to Pack the House for the gym’s final basketball tip off that features Mount Si hosting a first round KingCo 4A playoff game – a first for the talented team.

The undefeated and top-seeded Wildcats boys host the Crown Division’s second-seeded Redmond High School. The historic game will be the final basketball game in the current gymnasium, which will be demolished later this year as construction of the new Mount Si High School nears completion.

According to Rhett Workman of Snoqualmie Valley Sports Journal, “Mount Si grads, including all former players, are are invited to come out for one last game in the old barn.”

If Mount Si is victorious, they will play for the KingCo Championship the following night in Bellevue.

Good Luck and Go Cats!
