Two Decades Strong: Snoqualmie Valley Indoor Playground ready for 21st year of FUN

Two decades and still going strong.  That’s quite a community accomplishment – and a lot of fun over the years.

Snoqualmie Valley Indoor Playground begins its 21st year serving parents of the Snoqualmie Valley on Monday, September 11, 2017.

The playground, located at Si View Community Center, is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30AM to 11:20AM during weeks that the school district is in session. It is open to all children ages 0-5.

This very essential parent-volunteer run service relies on a $1 donation per child, as well as grants and fundraising to ensure continued operation.

2017 is a well-established year, with three board members returning to continue the bustling program. “If we can maintain the strong numbers and great events we have managed over the last few years,“ said SVIP President Hilary Shemanski, “I don’t see any reason why we can’t see record-breaking attendance and growth this year. It’s very exciting.”

The SVIP board would like to thank the hard work of all of the volunteers that make the Snoqualmie Valley Indoor Playground possible  – and would like to extend an invitation to all parents to join them.
