Downtown North Bend will be busy next weekend as two summer traditions take over North Bend Way. The North Bend Downtown Foundation hosts its annual Downtown Block Party on Saturday, July 18, from noon to 10 p.m., followed on Sunday, July 19, by the Early Ford V8 Club of America’s classic car show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Downtown Block Party
The free summer festival features live music and local community performances, the free Encompass NW Kid Zone (open noon to 5 p.m.), a vendor fair, art, a locally sourced beer and wine garden for those at least 21 years of age, and a variety of food, along with open and welcoming downtown restaurants.

The festival is coordinated by the North Bend Downtown Foundation (NBDF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping local businesses, encouraging downtown revitalization, and more. Proceeds from the Beer and Wine Garden go toward the NBDF’s work in supporting these businesses.
Downtown North Bend Car Show
On Sunday, July 19, the Early Ford V8 Club of America, Puget Sound Region, will host classic cars along North Bend Way in the same location as Block Party, between Bendigo Boulevard and Ballarat Avenue. The day will include music, trophies, and raffles.
Car shows were an annual tradition in North Bend and Snoqualmie for years, but the event ended during the COVID pandemic when the host club disbanded. Local classic car enthusiasts later persuaded the Early Ford V8 Club of America, Puget Sound Region, to sponsor the event’s return. Working with the Downtown Foundation, the club brought the car show back in 2024 on the Sunday after Block Party, and the inaugural event drew more than 80 cars to North Bend Way. This year marks the third annual North Bend Classic Car Show. The car is sponsored by Griot’s Garage
Road closures
To accommodate both events, the following street closures will occur on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19:
- Saturday, July 18, at 6 a.m. through Sunday, July 19, at 4 p.m.: North Bend Way, between Bendigo Boulevard and Ballarat Avenue
- Saturday, July 18, at 6 a.m. through Sunday, July 19, at 4 p.m.: Main Avenue, between McClellan Street and 107 Main Avenue N
Whether you’re there for the live music, the beer garden, or the chrome and whitewalls, downtown North Bend is the place to be next weekend. Come hungry, stay late, and say hi to your neighbors.
