Trail Run Brings Participants to Downtown North Bend

On Sunday, September 25th, residents may notice the Mt. Si Hill Climb Trail Run participants in downtown North Bend. The event runs from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m., including set-up and take-down time.

Approximately 150 runners are expected at the event that will utilize City sidewalks in the vicinity of West Second Street and Main Avenue North.

The Mt. Si Hill Climb will start and finish at Pro Ski and Mountain Service, located at 112 West Second Street. The route takes runners from West Second Street to Main Avenue North and then follows the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and the Mount Si Trail systems.

The event does not include any city street closures, only the use of sidewalks and associated crosswalks until participants reach the trail system. The trails will remain open to other users during the event.

Coordinators are looking forward to offering another fun outdoor event that promotes a healthy lifestyle. The run is hosted by Pro Ski and Mountain Service and is coordinated by Evergreen Trail Runs. Volition Brewing Co. also collaborates by hosting the event’s after-race beer garden.
