Traffic Alert: Crosswalk Striping to Occur at North Bend Way / Main Avuenue Intersection, May 13th

Today, May 12, 2021, the City received news from King County that the King County Roadway Striping Group was able to put the City of North Bend at the top of its priority list to complete a pedestrian safety improvement project.

The King County Striping Team will adhere white thermoplastic – a thick, reflective and durable striping material –  to define the boundaries of the four crosswalks at the intersection of North Bend Way and Main Ave. The improved crosswalks will enhance pedestrian safety in downtown North Bend.

This crosswalk striping work is scheduled to occur Thursday morning, May 13th.  Traffic control will be provided.

If possible, the City asks residents to please avoid driving through the North Bend Way and Main Avenue intersection Wednesday morning while this work is occurring.

The City thanks residents for their cooperation and patience while this crosswalk improvement work takes place.
