Torguson Skatepark Grand Opening Celebration Saturday, August 21st

The skatepark renovation project at Torguson Park in North Bend is complete! This project nearly doubled the footprint of the facility to a 13,000 square foot concrete skate park with exciting elements for all skill levels as well as a central gathering area.

The loop style design provides a safe and challenging place for skaters of all levels to build their skills and a place for families to play together. The renovation project was designed with community input by Seattle-based company Grindline and funded through Si View Metro Parks Capital Bond and CIP fund, and the City of North Bend.

It is time to come together as a community to celebrate this milestone! Please join Si View Metro Parks on Saturday, August 21st, for a day of activities at the skatepark, including a ribbon-cutting, “best tricks” contest with prizes and an all-around good time. Be sure to bring along a helmet and pads for practicing and showing off your new tricks at the park!

Torguson Park is located at 750 East North Bend Way in the heart of North Bend and offers a variety of activities in addition to the newly completed skatepark, including sports fields, climbing wall, picnic shelter and playground, a bike park, and walking trails.
