The Weather for the Week Ahead: A New Perspective from North Bend Weather Aficionado Mark Davis

[Guest Post by North Bend resident Mark Davis]

The past couple of days, we have been spoiled by some nice winter weather. Can’t really complain too much when the temps reach 60° In March. We’ll be getting back to our normal weather this week.

Rain amounts will not be too drastic this week. Monday afternoon into Tuesday looks to be fairly dry.  Then back to some light rain for the rest of the week.

Our temperatures for the week look to be fairly normal for this time of the year. We’ll still see some below freezing temps In the early morning hours. Don’t plant those flowers yet. Upper 40’s to the low 50’s for the highs.

Not seeing anything too crazy In the extended forecast. We may get a little breezy this Friday; I’ll keep watching the models on that.

Spring starts in 6 days.

Lifelong local Mark Davis bought his first cheap weather station in 2008, having always been fascinated with weather. Wanting to display the data he was recording, he built a basic website. That basic website and weather station went from around 100 visitors a month to an average of around 7k, depending on the current weather. With the help of donations, he has the best personal weather station you can buy for home use with many extra add-on sensors. He never imagined what he started would turn into a popular website. You can visit his Facebook page here or check out his website here.
