The Streets are Alive with Music, Jazz Walk Hits Downtown North Bend This Saturday!

Years ago who would’ve thought… North Bend as a live music destination?  But thanks to Danny Kolke, his passion for music and his restaurant, Boxley’s, featuring live performances 7-days a week, that is exactly what downtown North Bend has become.

This Saturday, September 14, 2013, from 6PM – Midnight, more than just Boxley’s will be hopping with live music, as the second annual Jazz Walk returns to the north-bend-jazz-walk-reversedJPEGstreets of historic North Bend.

The North Bend Jazz Walk is a one-day jazz festival at fifteen local venues, great  food & drink, as well some of the area’s finest jazz entertainment – with different artists and jazz groups performing at each participating North Bend venue.

Some of the local musicians and jazz groups performing at this year’s Jazz Walk include Pete Christlieb with the Danny Kolke Trio, Jay Thomas’ Cats: Neo-Boogaloo, Endemic Ensemble, Boxley’s Future Jazz Heads (local Valley students), Bernie Jacobs, Katy Bourne, Janette West, Pete Petersen, Pony Boy All-Star Big Band, Randy Halberstadt, Diana Page, Zachary Kellogg, Chris Symer, Dan Kramlich, Paul Green, Courtney Cutchins, Kelly Eisenhour, Brandon Beligni, Jay Roberts, Aria Prame, Milo Petersen, Steve Griggs, Chuck Deardorf, Ted Brancato, Leah Stillwell, Craig Hoyer .

Jazz Walk is organized by the Boxley Music Fund, a non-profit organization established to support live music programs for performance and education throughout the Snoqualmie Valley. Additional funding was provided by dozens of local business sponsors and members.
