The Age of Aquarius Dawns at the North Bend Theatre this weekend, July 23-25, with Limited Screenings of Summer of Soul.

Summer of Soul has been called “possibly the best concert film ever made” thanks to the direction of Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson.

Brilliantly weaving unseen footage of the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival with behind-the-scenes stories and personal recollections, Questlove shares his passion and excitement for the performances of Stevie Wonder, BB King, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Nina Simone, and many more legends of soul music.

Experience the magical Summer of Soul moments with 300,000 fans at what became known as the “Black Woodstock” of 1969. Screenings are limited. Tickets are available while they last online at https://northbendtheatre.com

The North Bend Theatre is an independent historic theatre showing first-run, classic, and documentary films in addition to live entertainment such as this Thursday’s 07/22 live concert featuring Kaitie Wade and Camden West playing indie rock and country music. Stand-up comedy has returned.

The next show will be announced at the end of July. Check out Upcoming Events at https://northbendtheatre.com
