The City of Snoqualmie has announced the lineup for the its popular summertime Movies and Music in the Park series, which runs June 23rd through September 1st.
Movies in the Park was enthusiastically received by residents in the summer of 2014 when a thousand little residents and their parents showed up to sing along to Frozen. Based on its popularity, the city launched an entire summer long series in 2015.
For 2016, they’re bringing even more movies and live music – every Thursday, all summer long. Kid and teen movies will happen on the 70-foot outdoor big screen at Snoqualmie Community Park, 35016 SE Ridge St.
Attendees are urged to bring blankets, pillows and chairs and comfortable. Popcorn, beverages and other snacks were provided by local businesses last year, but the city’s announcement did not state whether that would be the case this summer.
Live music will be performed on an outdoor stage on Snoqualmie Ridge, at the intersection of SE Ridge St and Center Blvd SE.
