Strong Undefeated Season Sends Mount Si Boys Soccer to Conference Title Game, Darren Brown Named ‘Coach of Year’

Mount Si High School Boys Soccer had one of those stellar seasons that will be long-remembered, going undefeated in the regular season and nabbing the #1 seed the KingCo 4A Tournament.

Moving up from 3A to 4A competition did not seem to phase this strong team that only allowed five goals all season.

KingCo All Conference Awards were handed out this week, with Mount Si players taking nine slots and Coach Darren Brown nabbing Coach of the Year.

Connor Williams, Max Adamson, Colton Oord and Bruce Corrie were named 1st Team All KingCo. Cameron Heimbigner made 2nd Team All KingCo, and Jake Turpin, Nick Dolewski, Reid Howland and Evan Betz received Honorable Mention.

Monday, May 11, 2015, Mount Si will host Inglemoor High School in the Conference Championship game. Kickoff happens at 7:30PM at Wildcat Stadium.

With a victory on Monday, Mount Si secures an automatic place in the 4A High School State Soccer Playoffs.  A loss would send Mount Si to another game on May 14th with a chance to grab the second state playoff slot.

Tickets for the May 11th League Championship are adults: $7 and students/seniors: $5.
