Still Closed: When will Ana’s Mexican Restaurant Reopen & What Shut it Down?

UPDATE |  MARCH 10, 2015, 3:45PM

Unfortunately, the reopening of Ana’s Mexican Restaurant won’t today. Due to unforeseen construction delays, Ana’s will reopen Wednesday, March 11th for lunch and dinner.

The announcement came suddenly on Sunday morning, February 22, 2015.

Ana’s Mexican Restaurant was temporarily shutting its doors. No reason was given, but according to their Facebook page, which apologized for the inconvenience, the popular Snoqualmie establishment would reopen by Thursday, February 26th.

The 26th came and went and the closed sign remained hanging on the door. Now, almost two weeks after that first closure notification, we asked why and when the usually busy restaurant would finally reopen.

Owner Anna Sotelo said the closure has been very frustrating for her as well, but she thinks she’ll finally return to serving customers by Tuesday March 10th.

The closure was needed to repair some remodeling work done on the restaurant’s interior two years ago. Sotelo said once contractors started doing what they hoped would be fairly quick work, they determined it more extensive than originally thought – and she wanted to make sure it was done right.  So much to her disappointment, she had to stay closed longer.

Good news, though! Ana’s will reopen next week – Tuesday March 10th – and Snoqualmie Valley residents can once again visit the popular restaurant for those famous house margaritas and a Mexican food fix.
