Traffic will alternate on State Route 202 in Fall City beginning Wednesday, Sept. 30, to allow repairs to erosion damage caused by major storms in December 2025 and March 2026.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30 and Thursday, Oct. 1, traffic on SR 202 just east of the SR 202/SR 203 roundabout will alternate. People traveling in the area should expect delays.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation began repairs in July with two weekend-long closures. During those closures, crews placed woody material, boulders, streambed gravel mix and stone fragments to restore the roadside embankment to its original grade. Crews will now repave the shoulder.
