SR 202 – Snoqualmie Falls Park to Boalch Ave NW – Paving and ADA improvements

Beginning Sunday, June 6, contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will repave sections of State Route 202 (SR 202) between Snoqualmie Falls in Snoqualmie and Boalch Ave NW in North Bend.

This work will require segmented and alternating single-lane closures with flagger-controlled traffic during the following dates and times through September 2021.

  • Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Weekday nights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Weekend nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Approximately 12,000 vehicles use SR 202 in this area each day. The road was last paved in 1995 and the existing concrete has outlived its expected lifespan. This project will replace the worn road, make needed repairs to the SR 202 Snoqualmie River bridge and install curb ramps at intersections to maintain access for people of all abilities.

These improvements will keep this stretch of SR 202 in a state of good repair and provide a reliably smooth ride to travelers.
