Eastbound and westbound State Route 18 traffic will be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic overnight Wednesday, March 5, south of Interstate 90, for lane restriping.
From 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, to 5 a.m. Thursday, March 6, people traveling eastbound and westbound on SR 18 should expect pilot cars alternating traffic between Deep Creek and Southeast 104th Street (mileposts 25 to 28).
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will refresh the center striping and fog lines. This work is part of the I-90/SR 18 Interchange Improvements project, which is building a diverging diamond interchange and widening more than 2 miles of SR 18 to two lanes in each direction south of I-90.
