Weekend Events Worth Mentioning: History, Smoked Meat, Waterfalls, Bikes, Overnight Cancer Walk

We’ve endured a mostly gray June and then right on schedule, summer weather emerged from hibernation right in time for the 4th of July fireworks.

If you are looking for some fun things to do this weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather, here are a few events happening around the valley.

SNOQUALMIE VALLEY HISTORY TALK WITH DAVE BATTEY

The Snoqualmie Valley YMCA is hosting rare and FREE history talk at 10:00AM today, July 7th, with local historian Dave Battey.  You can learn the history of the Snoqualmie Falls Lumber Company Mill and the missing mill town of Snoqualmie Falls, WA in a Snoqualmie Valley Historical Society video narrated by Dave Battey with music by Harley Brumbaugh. Some silent film from the 1920s and 1930s will also be shown.  Dave Battey is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the history of Snoqualmie Valley.

SNOQUALMIE RIDGE IGA HOMETOWN SMOKE EVENT
