Snoqualmie ‘Winter Lights’ rings in the holiday season with community tree lighting, new outdoor market

Drive through downtown Snoqualmie and it’s beginning to feel like the holidays. BUT the city is changing things up a little bit this year. With Thanksgiving falling pretty early, they’re having the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony a little bit later – on Saturday, December 1st

Organizers say to mark your calendars for Snoqualmie Winter Lights, a celebration of the holidays with the annual tree lighting, music, and more – on December 1st, from 5PM – 8PM in Railroad Park, 7971 Railroad Ave SE.

Bundle up and bring family and friends to Historic Snoqualmie for live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, an ice carver demo, and holiday cheer with cookies, cocoa, and cider.

Santa arrives at the Railroad Park Gazebo on Fire Engine 1 at 6:30 p m. to light the tree.

NEW this year – the Heirloom Winter Market, 2PM – 6PM at the corner of Railroad and River St.. The winter market is a new addition hosted by Heirloom Cookshop. You can eat, sip and shop in a European-style outdoor market.

Organizers hope you will spend the afternoon shopping for unique gifts, handmade goods from local artists and craftsmen, as well as Snoqualmie partners and businesses.

After the event, stay downtown, dine, drink and delight in the lights.
