Snoqualmie Valley School District open on time, buses on snow routes January 10th

UPDATE | JANUARY 10th, 11AM: The district said afternoon school bus routes in Area B (Fall City vicinity) and Area C (Snoqualmie) will drop off students on their regular bus stop locations, since road conditions have warmed in lower elevations. Area A (North Bend) bus routes will continue on Limited Transportation (snow routes) due to continued snow and slick road in the higher elevations.

ORIGINAL STORY

Temperatures near freezing and some light snow has the Snoqualmie Valley School District on Limited Transportation bus routes for ALL areas on Friday, January 10, 2019. School will open on time, though, according to the district.

That means there are limited pick up spots for each shortened bus route in Fall City, North Bend and Snoqualmie today. You can find those Limited Transportation bus pick up locations HERE.

NOTE: When the district runs “Limited Transportation” routes in the morning, students will be dropped off at the same bus stop locations (snow routes) in the afternoon, regardless of after-school road conditions.

Snow is expected to change to rain later Friday morning, but will remain heavy snow over mountain passes. Below normal cold temperatures are expected in the entire Puget Sound region beginning on Sunday, with record low temperatures possible.
