Snoqualmie Valley Relay For Life Announces Fun, Local Fundraising Events To Help Fight Cancer

Thank you to Snoqualmie Valley Relay For Life Team Member, Bev Jorgensen, for keeping me up to date on all their great fundraisers.  Cancer took my own father in three weeks time almost four years ago.  It doesn’t discriminate based on age, sex or background.  Research is key and fundraisers like Relay For Life are critical to research funding.  Thanks to Snoqualmie Valley Relay For Life for their never-ending hard work!  Thanks for the story Bev.

Living in the Snoqualmie Valley is a reminder of how a small community comes together.  So many in the valley have had to face cancer.  We are blessed with so many survivors while having said goodbye to way too many, way too soon.

The Snoqualmie Valley Relay for Life Event is fast approaching on July 7th and 8th at Centennial Field in Snoqualmie.  What a perfect opportunity to come together to remember, to honor and to raise funds to fight cancer.

Snoqualmie Valley Relay For Life is still recruiting teams to meet its goal.  Interested parties can still form their own team or join an existing team.

Coming up on May 5th is the return of the German Dinner Fundraiser sponsored by the ‘PartyLite Lives It Up to Beat Cancer Team.’  This is a great event with authentic German cooking by chef Christa Dietz, musical entertainment by the AlpenFolk Band and a silent auction.  The dinner will be held at the Eagles Hall, 8200 Railroad Ave, Snoqualmie – Saturday, May 5th 4:00-7:30PM.  Tickets are $15.00 per person or $7.50 for kids 12 and under.  You can purchase your tickets from Bev Jorgensen at 425.922.8645 or from any PartyLite team member.

May 24th is the date of the ‘Remarkable Relayers Fundraiser’ at Boxley’s in North Bend.  The dinner tickets are $30 per person or $45 per couple.  There will be dinner and a silent auction starting at 6:30PM.  Tickets are available by contacting Wendy Nesland.

Team Dy-No-Mite will be having a garage sale on the weekend of May 18th – May 20th . More details will be available later on the Relay website.  They will also be hosting a Bake Sale on June 16th  in the breezeway between Jay Berry’s and Starbucks in North Bend from 9AM to 4PM or until sold out.

Support Snoqulamie Valley Relay For Life and have fun at the same time with these great fundraisers.  If you have a new fundraiser for the website, please send an email to Teresa Warren with ALL of the details (who, what, when, where, etc.).  Keep an eye on the Fundraisers & Activities tab on the website for more updates.
