The American Legion Renton-Pickering Post 79 will be conducting some activities around the Valley this upcoming Memorial Day.

The legion will be placing flags at Veterans Graves in three local valley cemeteries, Preston, Fall City,  and Mount Si Memorial. Those that want to volunteer can RSVP here. Veterans and Volunteers are meeting at 9 am on 5/29 at Fall City Cemetery.

Veterans of Post 79 and members of Auxiliary Unit 79 will be collecting donations, along with having Buddy Poppies available at the North Bend QFC on 5/29 & 5/30. Donations can also be made contact-free here.

On May 31st there will be services throughout the Snoqualmie Valley. These are:

  • 10 AM at the Fall City Cemetery
  • 11 AM at the Veterans Memorial Park in Snoqualmie

The Snoqualmie American Legion Post 79 would like everyone to join them in paying respects and honoring our fallen Veterans.
