Snoqualmie Valley Beauty, a Living Canvass

The Snoqualmie Valley is a naturally beautiful place, surrounded by hills and peaks and carved out by a winding river that touches areas east to west, dropping over breathtaking falls along the way.

Beautiful vistas are abundant, whether you climb to the top of Mt. Si, find a favorite spot on the banks of the Snoqualmie River, visit Snoqualmie Falls with hundreds of tourists – or just pull your car over in a parking lot to catch the sunrise.

It’s everywhere.  It’s what happens when you reside in a living landscape.

Here are some popular photos shared on the Living Snoqualmie Facebook page – along with a brand new one of  the sunset and rainbow over the Snoqualmie Valley on Friday, March 28, 2014,

Contributing photographer, Manju Shekhar, said he is dedicating the new photo to the victims of the Oso mudslide.
