Snoqualmie Ski Swap and MSHS Valley Fest On Tap This Weekend!

Did anyone notice the white stuff on the peak of Mt. Si this morning?  You guessed it, the first snow of the year, which gets skiers and snowboarders excited for the upcoming ski season.  While you wait for the snow pack to pile up, consider hitting the annual Snoqualmie Valley Ski and Snowboard Swap this Saturday, November 5th,  from 9AM – 1PM in the Snoqualmie Middle School gymnasium.

Skiers and snowboarders can buy and sell used gear, including helmets, skis, snowboards and boots.  Snow sports are expensive and kids outgrow gear yearly so this is a great opportunity to hit the slopes without going broke.  You can also purchase a season pass from the Summit at Snoqualmie – pictures included.  If you want new gear, Mt. Si Board and Skate will be on hand selling their latest skiing and boarding gear/equipment.

If you plan to sell gear, drop-off and pricing happens in the Snoqualmie Middle School gym on Friday, November 4th, from 3PM – 6PM and Saturday from 7:30AM – 9AM.

When you’re finished swapping your gear, head around the corner to start your holiday shopping at Mount Si High School’s annual Valley Fest.  It happens from 10AM – 4PM in the MSHS Commons.  There will be lots of holiday booths featuring local artists, crafts and merchants.  There are also holiday classes and entertainment happening throughout the day.  Admission is free.  Come support the Mount Si High School PTSA.  For more info visit www.mshsptsa.org
