Snoqualmie Restaurant Closes; New Ownership, New Name

In an email to patrons on their mailing list on October 21, 2015, the ownership of Ray’s Dining Car, located at 8072 Railroad raysignAve in historic Snoqualmie, announced that the restaurant had been sold and is now closed.

Ray’s Dining Car opened on May 22, 2014, in the former spot of longtime downtown business La Fogata Mexican Restaurant, after about three months of remodeling.

Their opening coincided with an extensive downtown Snoqualmie remodeling project that many historic Snoqualmie businesses said was tough due to parking issues and traffic backups.

Ray’s was the third restaurant for the husband and wife team of Ray and Keri Fisher and served a variety of “eclectic comfort food.” Their prior two businesses were in Pennsylvania and Florida.

In their email announcement Ray’s stated that the new owners plan to remodel the place and will re-open in late November or early December. They also thanked their patrons for the support shown.

According to Ray, the new owners plan to “change it up a bit” and reopen under a new name.

Good Luck to Ray and Keri!
