Snoqualmie Police Alert Ends – Incorrect Report

This just in from the City of Snoqualmie regarding the earlier Living Snoqualmie story:

The Snoqualmie Police Department has concluded that the suspicious behavior incident report from earlier today was inaccurate.

Video surveillance by the school district showed that a black car – not a red car as reported – was entering the driveway of Cascade View Elementary School. The car was driven by a parent who was going to pick up his child from the school. The driver motioned for the girl on the scooter to cross the drive, which she misunderstood it to be a motion for her to approach the car.

The Snoqualmie Police Department thanks the Snoqualmie Valley School District for working quickly with them to solve this case.

For more information, please contact Snoqualmie Police Captain Nick Almquist at 425-888-3333.

  • I’m glad it was a misunderstanding, but I still think the girl did the right thing. When in doubt, run for help.
