Original Story

As of 1:45 PM, Snoqualmie Pass is closed EB at MP 47 near Denny Creek due to multiple spin-outs and blocking vehicles.

They don’t have an ETA for a reopening. Stay tuned.

According to the Snoqualmie Pass Twitter account, this is why I-90 is closed, five miles west of the summit.

Traction tire requirements are in place for a reason. They need drivers to obey these requirements, chain up and take it slow.

The Washington State Patrol is also out enforcing the requirements, but they can’t catch everyone.
