Snoqualmie Fit Body Boot Camp under new ownership, grand re-opening celebration happens January 27th

Snoqualmie Fit Body Boot Camp is under new ownership. That new owner – Courtney Hernandez – couldn’t be more excited to take the downtown Snoqualmie business to new heights.

The workout facility located at 8030 Railroad Ave specializes in 30 minute strength and cardio high intensity interval classes for those 16 years and older.

Courtney took over the business in August and since then has been working hard. She’s planning a grand re-opening and ribbon cutting celebration on Sunday, January 27th from 4:30 – 6PM that includes FREE workout sessions, FREE massages by renewBody therapy, appetizers provided by Caadxi Oaxaca, prizes and games.

Fitness coach, owner, mom and community volunteer, Courtney has created the Fit Body Boot Camp short workouts – hoping to inspire others and strengthen the community one day at a time.

A few years after moving to the Snoqualmie Valley, Courtney discovered Fit Body Boot Camp. She said she enjoyed the workouts, coaches, the gym’s inclusive environment and the friendship she developed there.

She explained, “I lost about one hundred pounds in a year-and-a-half; some of it from hiking and running outdoors and at the tail-end of my weight-loss, from working out in the gym. It’s all about having a vision and possessing the energy to attain that vision. That’s where boot camp and the coaches come in.”

So last summer, Courtney became a certified fitness instructor and fell in love with it. She said, “For me, there are so many similarities between being a fitness coach and an educator. I create workouts daily -much like a teacher creates lesson plans. As a fitness instructor, I encourage others to create a vision and I help them to reach their goals.”

Not too long after that, she became the new owner of Snoqualmie Fit Body Boot Camp and as they say, ‘the rest is history.’

Courtney also volunteers at Echo Glen Children’s Center, teaching a comprehensive HIIT fitness class to kids there: “Healthy. Informed. Inspired. Teens” was created by Courtney herself. When she isn’t creating fitness classes, she also teaches at the secondary education level.
