Installation of a new traffic signal at Snoqualmie Parkway and SE 99th Street will require overnight construction as work continues on Snoqualmie Valley Health’s expansion project.
At its Monday, Aug. 24 meeting, the Snoqualmie City Council approved an after-hours noise permit for the work.
Construction will take place Sunday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for approximately 31 nights, with work anticipated to begin the second week of September.
Snoqualmie Valley Health’s 85,000-square-foot HUB is expected to be completed in early 2027, expanding the range of medical services available on its Snoqualmie campus. The new building will include four operating rooms, 33 exam rooms and additional space for radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, specialty care, infusion and outpatient rehabilitation for adults and children.
The project also includes community event space, a full-service restaurant, and a three-story rock-climbing gym. Construction has continued to move forward this summer, with exterior metal panels going up and work underway on signage, sidewalks, landscaping and the building’s interior. Painting, additional interior finishes and completion of the south parking area are among the next phases. In addition to the new traffic light, the building will be accessible via two separate driveways.
The HUB is also designed to support substantial growth at Snoqualmie Valley Health. More than 30 new providers and 225 additional staff positions are planned, with the hospital expecting its workforce to nearly double by 2030 as it expands access to specialty, surgical and outpatient care in the Snoqualmie Valley.
