Snoqualmie Announces a New Online Portal for Public Records Requests

The City of Snoqualmie has adopted a new online portal to streamline Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

The NextRequest portal, available on the city website, gives requestors the ability to submit, track, and browse public record requests online, receive automatic email updates about their requests, and download documents.

The City receives numerous FOIA requests each year, which the City Clerk’s office manages. In addition to submitting requests, visitors to the portal will have access to a searchable database of previously released documents, ensuring that anyone will have access to it once a City document has been made public.

“I’m pleased to partner with NextRequest to provide our residents with a streamlined process for public records requests,” said Mayor Matt Larson. “The City of Snoqualmie strives for transparency in all of its operations. This new service will make City information easier for residents to access while conserving staff time.”
