Updated: Snoqualmie Pass Estimated to open at Noon, White Pass at 10 am, Stevens still has no Estimated Opening Time

Update Monday 9:13 am:

I-90 Snoqualmie Pass remains closed due to increased avalanche danger. Traffic is stopped eastbound at milepost 34 near North Bend and westbound at milepost 106 near Ellensburg, milepost 84 near Cle Elum, and milepost 70 near Easton.

Crews have completed the assessment this morning and the estimated time to reopen the pass is noon today. US-12 White Pass and US-2 Stevens Pass are closed. White Pass is estimated to open at 10 a.m. Stevens Pass still has no estimated opening time

Updated 5:35 pm:

White Pass will also close at 6 PM overnight due to heavy rains and increased avalanche danger. WB will close at Oak Creek MP 183 and Upper Tieton RD, MP 158, crews will assess conditions Monday morning.

I-90 Snoqualmie Pass will closed, at 6 PM tonight Sunday Feb. 21 due heavy rains and increased avalanche danger.           

Traffic will be stopped EB at 34 near North Bend and WB at MP 70 near Easton, MP 84 near Cle Elum, and MP 106 near Ellensburg.

US 2 Stevens Pass will be closed to traffic in both directions from milepost 58 at Scenic to milepost 64.5 at the summit at 6:00 p.m. due to heavy rains and increased avalanche danger.  Avalanche control operations are scheduled for 7:00 a.m. on Monday, February 22nd.

The estimated times to reopen the passes are unknown, crews will reassess conditions Monday morning.

An update will be provided at 9 AM.

US 12 White Pass is an alternate route.
