UPDATE: 9:30 PM
From the Snoqualmie Police Department:
Today at about 4:15 PM, Snoqualmie Officers were sent to the Panorama Apartments in the9600 block of Frontier Ave SE. A 3-year old boy and his father arrived at the apartment complex where the child’s mother
abducted him.
The mother jumped into an awaiting vehicle and sped away. The father fired one round at the wheel of the fleeing vehicle in an attempted to disable it. The vehicle left the area and could not be located.
The mother has a court order prohibiting contact with the child and the father. The male that was driving the fleeing vehicle, is believed to be listed below and has felony charges pending where he had threatened to harm the mother and one of her children.
Our detectives are working with the Major Crimes Task Force, Washington State Patrol, King County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI to locate the child and the suspects.

A 3-year-old boy named Maximus Wood was kidnapped by his mother from his father’s residence in Snoqualmie. He was last seen today
The child’s mother is not allowed to have contact per custody order. Mother is believed to be traveling with Edward Carte who has made threats to kill the mother and children.
The vehicle they are believed to be in is a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta, silver in color with California license plate #8KPJ094.
