Snoqualmie – All Garbage, Recycle and Yard Waste Containers Can Be Left For Allied Waste This Week

Some Snoqualmie residents may have missed having their yard waste and recycle containers picked-up by Allied Waste last week as Snoqualmie switches to Waste Mangement for its garbage service.  There are many moving parts during this transition to Waste Management.  The City of Snoqualmie appreciate your patience.

Here are some new updates:

Tuesday – Thursday Customers

  • After Allied Waste collects your garbage this week on your regular collection day, please leave your empty garbage cart out and they will have a separate truck come later in the day to pick it up.
  • If your yard waste and/or recycle container was not picked up last week, please leave those out on your regular garbage collection day for Allied Waste to pick up.
  • If you forget to leave your carts out and they are not taken away, you may drop them off at the holiday tree lot at the bottom of Snoqualmie Parkway.
  • After your final collections this week, use the Waste Management carts for your garbage, recycling, and yard waste going forward with collection beginning the week of June 4. Refer to the letter sent to you by Waste Management and the tape on your new container indicating your collection day going forward.

Friday Customers

  • If your garbage, yard waste, and/or recycle containers were not picked up during your collection day last Friday, please call Allied Waste at 425-392-6651 to schedule another cart pick-up. You may also drop them off at the holiday tree lot at the bottom of Snoqualmie Parkway.
  • Waste Management will have already delivered all three carts to you by now. Please use the Waste Management carts going forward for your garbage, recycling, and yard waste with collection beginning the week of June 4. Refer to the letter sent to you by Waste Management and the tape on your new container indicating your collection day going forward.
  • If, by chance, you did not receive your containers, please call Waste Management at 800-592-9995.
