Single Car Rollover Accident Slows I90 Traffic Thursday Night

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), around 830 pm on Wednesday, March 16th, there was a one-vehicle rollover collision EB I-90 at milepost 19.

A green 1996 Ford Ranger, driven by a 36-year-old male, was traveling eastbound I90 just west of High Point Way in lane four of four.

The Ranger swerved to the right and rolled, ejecting the female passenger. The vehicle came to rest upright perpendicular in lane one facing south.

At approximately 930 pm, Eastside Fire & Rescue (EFR) reported being on the scene, and several lanes were closed. An unidentified female with life-threatening injuries was transported to Harborview. The male driver was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.

It is unknown at this point if drugs and alcohol were involved. The cause is under investigation.
