Si View Parks debuts new trail connections with Community Walk

Si View Parks invites the community to celebrate the completion of new trail connections from Snoqualmie Valley Trail to Tollgate Farm Park and Meadowbrook Farm.

On Friday June 28th, a ribbon cutting ceremony happens at 5pm – at the new Meadowbrook Trail – followed by a community walk around Tollgate Farm Park. [See walk map below]

Refreshments will be available at the finish line at Meadowbrook Farm. Parking is available at Meadowbrook Farm.

According to Si View Parks, the two trail connections greatly improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety, eliminating the need to travel along busy SR-202.

The gravel surface trails meander through meadows with expansive views of the surrounding Cascade Mountains and provide new loop options for residents and visitors.

The projects were a collaborative effort between Si View Metro Parks, the City of North Bend, and Meadowbrook Farm Association, with financial support from King County Parks.

Si View Metro Parks says it is committed to continued work on the local trail network. Next year, it will also add a separated walking path along North Bend Way, linking Tollgate Farm Park to downtown North Bend.

Attendees are encouraged to dress for weather and wear comfortable shoes. Restrooms are available at Meadowbrook Farm and Tollgate Farm Park.

The full route is approximately three miles. A shuttle will also be available from Tollgate Farm back to the finish line for anyone looking for a shorter stroll. Walkers of all ages and abilities, strollers, bicycles and leashed pets are all welcome to attend!
