Serious Car vs Motorcycle Accident in Fall City Leads to Multiple Charges for One Driver

At approximately 4 pm on Tuesday, April 13th a White Chevy TrailBlazer was traveling southbound on 203 approaching 202. A motorcycle was traveling northbound 203 just north of 202.

The Chevy crossed the centerline and sideswiped a large truck before striking the motorcycle which came to rest in a ditch. The Chevy continued southbound at a high rate of speed.

The driver then hit a light pole and continued southbound before getting on SR202 westbound and left the roadway coming to a rest in a ditch at approximately milepost 19.

The driver then fled on foot and was later apprehended. The 32-year-old Redmond man was charged with DUI, Vehicular Assault and Felony Hit and Run.

The 31 year old male motorcycle driver, from Port Angeles, was transported to Overlake Medical Center. He was wearing a helmet.

  • I watched this from a parking lot just north of the traffic circle. The driver knew what he was doing. He was running away from something he had done up the road out of my sight. He sheared off the light post in front of me and kept right on going. I have never seen anything like it.
