Sallal Water Association to hold important annual meeting remotely, March 30th

The Sallal Water Association is reminding members that its March 30th annual meeting will still happen remotely using Zoom.

Per the Sallal meeting announcement, “With the current outbreak of COVID-19 and following the advice of Public Health, the Sallal Water Association Annual Meeting will be held using a group conferencing system that can be accessed by either computer or phone.”

Directions on how register for the meeting by computer, internet connected device or by phone can be found HERE.

During the important annual meeting five Board of Trustees positions will be decided; management will share an update on system chlorination mandated by the state following last year’s E-coli contamination incident, and other ‘key information’ will be provided.

Sallal Board Vice President Daylin Baker said, “Continuing open communication with members is always important, but even more so is health and safety.  So I’m thrilled our Board President was able to pull together this online meeting alternative so we can still engage with our members without putting anyone at risk.”

To read the bios of all four candidates up for re-election and one candidate up for the open Board of Trustee position, visit the Sallal website HERE.

Remember, the Sallal Office is closed due to COVID-19.  Staff are working regular hours, though.  Member questions can be answered by phone or email.  Customers can drop payments in the outside collection box.
