ORIGINAL STORY
Our first Wind Advisory of the Fall/Winter season has been issued, and  I’m sure there’s more to come this fall and winter.

Did the pounding rain keep you up last night? The first weather system of many out in the Pacific rolled through overnight and there’s more on tap this Monday.

The National Weather Service of Seattle (NWS) has posted a Wind Advisory for the East Puget Sound Lowlands. The advisory goes from 7AM to 7PM Monday, November 13, 2017.

As of now we’ll see 25 to 35 mph winds, possibly gusting to 55 mph. These winds will be from the South. South winds don’t tend to be that big for us out here in Snoqualmie Valley like west winds are.

This wind storm will not be a historical wind storm, just our normal fall storm.  Winds are expected to peak around midday – and it’s supposed to stay wet and windy through much of Tuesday. High temperatures will be in the high 40’s to low 50’s for the Valley.

With any wind event that we do get, just be prepared for power outages.
