Ready for the Crowds? Day out with Thomas returns this weekend, with more trains added

If you thought last weekend was crowded in downtown Snoqualmie – be prepared for it again this weekend as Thomas the Tank Engine continues his only Washington tour stop, attracting hundreds of Washington families to the Snoqualmie Valley.

Since the Day out with Thomas event proved so popular last weekend, more train times were added for the second weekend of the 2017 Day Out With Thomas: The Friendship Tour at the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie.

Kids can spend a day with their friend Thomas when the #1 Engine pulls into Snoqualmie July 21st-23rd. An extra train was added on Friday morning at 10:30AM and another on Saturday at 5:15PM, giving families more opportunity to get tickets.

Come meet the Real Thomas the Tank Engine during his only appearance in the Pacific Northwest region this year. Thomas the Tank Engine rides depart every 45 minutes, rain or shine. Departure times begin at 9AM through 5PM each day of the event.  Tickets for Day Out with Thomas are $23/Fridays and $26/Saturdays and Sundays plus tax for ages two and up. The ticket includes the whole day of activities and admission to the Northwest Railway Museum’s Train Shed Exhibit Building, too.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.ticketweb.com/dowt or by calling toll-free 866.468.7630.  For more information and directions, contact the Northwest Railway Museum at 425-888-3030 or www.trainmuseum.org.
