It’s back…. the 79th Snoqualmie Railroad Days festival showcasing Snoqualmie’s “Trains, Timber, Traditions” happens August 18th -20th.
Organizers say Railroad Days highlights the uniqueness of Snoqualmie’s past, present & future. Music, Arts, Wine & Beer Gardens get rolling at 5PM on Friday, August 18th, with lots of family fun activities on Saturday and Sunday.
Begun as a fundraiser by volunteer firemen and their wives in 1938, the popular community event is still going strong today. Produced today by the Northwest Railway Museum, the festival promotes small town spirit with family fun in mind.
Snoqualmie Railroad Days is celebrated in and around the Snoqualmie Depot and historic downtown Snoqualmie. Community members are invited to join the fun with a train excursions to the top of Snoqualmie Falls during the festival.
The festival includes: a Pancake breakfast put on by Fire Department volunteers, Live entertainment, Beer and Wine gardens, festival food, a Grand Parade, Arts and Crafts vendors, a Children’s Field of Fun and wagon rides. Add historic train rides, model trains, Timbersports shows, History Comes Alive, Artists-in-action, and the Legends Classic Car show and you know it’s going to be a fun weekend.
