Puget Sound Energy buys Snoqualmie office building, 150 employees to relocate

After sitting empty for a few years, it looks like the Nuprecon Building in the Snoqualmie Ridge Business Park, 35131 SE Center Street, finally has a new owner.

The 45,000 sq. ft. office building constructed in 2002 by commercial demolition and abatement company, Nuprecon, was recently sold to Puget Sound Energy.

According to City of Snoqualmie Community Development Director Mark Hofman, PSE has closed on the building purchase and intends to operate the large facility as a data center. He said about 150 employees will work in the Snoqualmie Ridge office space.

Hofman wasn’t sure of the exact timeline for PSE to occupy the building, but said his hope was that by this summer the data center would be installed and employees would begin relocating to the Snoqualmie Valley.

Puget Sound Energy’s corporate office is located in downtown Bellevue, with several customer service offices also located around the Puget Sound region.

PSE has about 1.1 million customers across eight western Washington counties and employs approximately 2,700 people.
