Police release photos of North Bend Bank of America robbery suspect

On Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 3:30PM, the Snoqualmie Police Department reported via social media that they were searching the downtown North Bend area for suspects connected to the robbery of Bank of America located at 128 Bendigo Blvd.

According to a press release, the robbery occurred around 3:05PM. The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 6’0, slim build, wearing a white jacket with hoody, glasses, goatee, white beeny hat with red lettering “Washington” and tan pants.

SPD said he entered the bank and demanded money. He left the bank on foot heading eastbound with $1750 in currency. There was no weapon implied or seen.

Deputies from the King County Sheriff’s Office and their K-9 Unit assisted with the search, but it was determined the suspect had a vehicle nearby and fled the scene.

North Bend Elementary was placed on lockdown as a precaution shortly before school was to dismiss, but the lockdown was discontinued around 3:40PM. The district said all students were safe, but were released slightly late.
