Police Blotter | possible stolen laundry; urinal fire; camping after hours arrest

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SE 11TH ST, North Bend

On April 5th around 10:15PM, a caller reported that two teenage girls had ding-dongditched her house and requested that police do a drive through of the area.

DISPUTE | SUNSET MOTEL, North Bend

On April 6th around 1:15AM, police responded to a report of a drunk male who was trying to fight his cab driver and refusing to pay his bill.

THEFT REPORT | SNO COIN LAUNDRY, Snoqualmie

On April 7th around 11:55AM, police responded to a report of stolen laundry. After watching video surveillance, they realized that the man who took the laundry was still there. They talked to him and it appeared he had taken the laundry by mistake and returned it to the owner.

THEFT REPORT | EZ MART, North Bend

On April 9th around 11:05AM, an employee reported that a regular customer had stolen a potted plant from the front of the store. He gave the woman who stole it a chance to return it, but she never did so he turned over video of the theft to the police.

AREA CHECK | TRAIN DEPOT, North Bend

On April 11th around 11:00AM, police caught a known subject drinking a Steel reserve on the back side of the train depot. He poured it out left after being advised that next time he was caught he would not get a warning.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | YMCA, Snoqualmie

On April 11th around 6:25PM, a caller reported that toilet paper had been lit on fire in the toilet and urinal of a bathroom. There was a large group of juveniles who looked nervous when the reporting person arrived and found the fire, but they denied any involvement when asked about it.

THEFT IN-PROGRESS | ACE HARDWARE, North Bend

On April 12th around 8:45PM, a caller reported that a man in the store was concealing items. Police made contact with the subject and found that he had indeed stolen about $60 worth of merchandise. While arresting him for the theft, they also found that he had drugs on him.

AREA CHECK | BENDIGO BLVD N & SYDNEY AVE N, North Bend

On April 13th around 11:25PM, officers found someone in the park after hours with a campsite set up. There were multiple bikes and trash spread around, with trash also being buried in the ground. The camper had been given multiple previous warnings about camping in the area after hours and was booked into Issaquah County Jail.
