Police Blotter | Bullets Through Wall; Stole your Truck and got it Stuck; Missing Husband; Rollover Accident but no Driver; LOTS of Car Prowls

ALARM |  HUXDOTTERS COFFEE, North Bend

On November 17th at 4:45AM, police responded to a silent “hold up” alarm code from the business.  An officer made contact with an employee who had entered the code in error.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | BRINKLEY AVE WALKING TRAIL, Snoqualmie

On November 17th at 1:15PM a caller reported that a silver sedan was parked on the walking trail, saying the vehicle had been there at least an hour and appeared to be watching houses in the area.  An officer responded and made contact with the occupants who were described as “obvious users.”  They were told to leave the suspicious location.


HAZARDOUS ROADWAY CONDITION |  SCHUSMAN AVE, Snoqualmie

On November 17th around 1:30PM police responded to a downed tree on top of an older Toyota SUV and blocking the roadway. No power lines were hit or came down with the tree and the vehicle had no damage.  The tree was removed.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |  MEADOWBROOK WAY, Snoqualmie

On November 17th around 3PM a caller reported that they thought they were being followed while driving. The “following” vehicle, though, then turned off onto a different street and the call for assistance was canceled.


CITIZEN ASSIST |  NORTH BEND  SAFEWAY

On November 17th around 3:15PM a caller requested police contact when it was discovered that another subject was using his phone number to make Safeway (Club Card) purchases.  An officer responded and reported there was no crime, someone had just entered a wrong phone number.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |   HUCKLEBERRY WAY, Snoqualmie

On November 17th at 7:50PM  a caller reported a subject came to their door saying they were from Comcast, carrying a tablet on a clipboard and seemed suspicious. An officer responded but was unable to locate the door to door salesman.


HIT & RUN ACCIDENT |  O’REILLY AUTO PARTS, North Bend

On November 17th at 9PM a caller reported a hit and run in the parking lot. Damaged car was a Ford pickup truck.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES  |  BENDIGO BLVD, North Bend

On November 18th at 1:50PM a caller reported that someone had been messing with the lock on their apartment door for the past few days.  The caller was concerned with drug activity, theft and possible attempted burglaries at the apartment complex.  The caller thought the suspicious activity was possibly associated with a blue or silver van and a white male in his late 20’s with blonde hair.


ANIMAL PROBLEM | SNOQUALMIE PKWY & RAILROAD AVE

On November 18th at 7:30AM it was reported that two dogs were at large in the area.  The owner of the boxer showed up and police contacted the owner of the second dog, a collie.


CITIZEN ASSIST |  SNOQUALMIE POLICE DEPARTMENT

On November 18th at 9:30AM, an officer helped a citizen change a flat tire near the police station.


RECKLESS DRIVING | KINSEY ST & CENTER BLVD, Snoqualmie

On November 18th at 3:30PM it was reported that bottles were being thrown at pedestrians by four teens in  a silver Honda, with one of the bottles hitting the caller in the back.  Police responded, checked the registered owner’s address, but was unable to locate the bottle throwing teenagers.


BULLETS THROUGH WALL |  E 2ND ST, North Bend

On November 18th at 10:30PM, police responded after a caller reported finding two bullet holes in their shower. A male accidentally discharged a firearm inside the his residence, which then went through the two apartments next door. The landlord was advised of the incident. Charges will be sent to the KC prosecutor’s office.


 

DISTURBANCE | WARRIORS QUICK STOP (Truck Town), North Bend

On November 19th at 1:30AM a caller reported that four males had been screaming and swinging at each other near the gas pumps for the past 30 minutes.  An officer responded, but after searching the surrounding area, was unable to locate the subjects.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |  NYE ST, Snoqualmie

On November 18th at 11:45PM a caller reported a suspicious van parked in front of their home – possibly loading something.  The person then called back to cancel the call. Police later determined it was a postal carrier.


NON-INJURY ACCIDENT | RAILROAD AVE & SE MILL POND RD, Snoqualmie

On November 19th around 9AM a caller reported that she believed her driver’s side window was shattered by a rock from an unsecured load in a double-haul trailer.  An officer responded and reported that the rock flew was sent flying by a tire from a vehicle on the roadway, but it was unknown exactly was vehicle caused the damage.


MALICIOUS MISCHIEF IN-PROGRESS |  MT SI GOLF COURSE, Snoqualmie

On November 2oth at 2:40PM a caller reported that a 4×4 truck appeared to be tearing up the grass on the golf course, but that so far no damage was seen yet. An officer responded and made contact with the driver who stated he was just turning around. The officer found no damage to the grass.


VEHICLE PROWL REPORT | SE 12TH PL, North Bend

On November 20th around 7:45AM a caller reported a vehicle prowl.  Some small items were stolen and it was reported that the thief likely also tried to enter the garage with the garage door opener that was in the vehicle, but luckily it was not operational.


MISSING PERSON |  NORTH BEND

On November 20th at 9:40AM a woman called to report her husband missing – stated that his phone was going straight to voicemail, his car was found in Seattle and he had no history of drug/alcohol abuse.  While an officer was taking the report the husband showed up after being out all night “drinking and partying.” The officer reported that the woman was very upset and he advised the husband to go somewhere else “until both parties cooled off.”


INTOXICATED AND STUMBLING | MT SI SENIOR CENTER, North Bend

On November 20th at 7:45PM a caller reported an intoxicated man on foot, stumbling and swaying in the parking lot. An officer responded and gave the man high on marijuana a ride to Fall City.


DISTURBANCE |  SATTERLEE AVE & SE MOSES ST, Snoqualmie

On November 20th around 10:30PM it was reported that there were 20+ teens in the middle of the road, possibly getting ready to fight, associated with a 4-door Honda and a black truck that sped away from the neighborhood.  Officers responded and after contacting the subjects it was determined that there was no disturbance.


NON-INJURY ACCIDENT |  RAILROAD AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On November 21st at 7:45AM it was reported that a Ford truck a slipped on the icy roads and went into the bushes, possibly also hitting a couple of vehicles near the Salish Lodge. An officer responded to find the vehicle had lost control on the icy road, but had driven off prior to his arrival.  No damage was observed or reported.


VEHICLE PROWL REPORT | SE 10TH ST, North Bend

On November 21st at 11:20AM it was reported that two days earlier an unlocked vehicle was prowled, with the car’s stereo and registration taken.


RECKLESS DRIVING | E NORTH BEND WAY; North Bend LES SCHWAB

On November 21st around 12:30PM it was reported that a car swerved off the road, went into a ditch, knocked over a sign and then got back on the road and drove away to a nearby business. An officer responded and made contact with the driver who was suffering from the limited use of his arm after a stroke.  He was advised not to drive until the effects of the stroke were gone.  The officer reported there could be possible further action against the driver.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |  LEITZ AVE, Snoqualmie

On November 21st at 11:40PM officers responded and conducted an area check after a homeowner reported someone knocking on his door and leaving the area.  They were unable to locate the subject.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |  W NORTH BEND WAY

It was reported that male was in the parking lot between North Bend Theater and Pioneer Coffee, looking into vehicles and acting strange.  The caller stated at one point the man “charged” at them and then turned and ran away.  The man was described as white, light hair and in his 20’s.  An officer responded but was unable to locate the subject.


ALARM |  TWO RIVERS ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL

On November 22nd at 1:40AM Officers responded to a silent alarm at Two Rivers School. Via the alarm system, the subjects were heard going through things, opening and closing drawers and cupboards in the building – talking and laughing about things they found. Officers, including a canine unit responded. The subjects spotted the officers, exclaimed “cops everywhere” and ran through the school – attempted to exit through double doors on the west side of the building where they were met by officers. Three juvenile males were arrested and released to their parents. Charges were to be filed pending further investigation.


THEFT IN-PROGRESS | SE NORTH BEND WAY

On November 22nd around 2AM officers responded to a report of a possible vehicle theft. Upon arrival officers were told by the caller that his friend, who was currently in jail, had parked his car at the location – and he observed a man (not friend) just drive the car away, possibly stealing it. According to the officer, further research showed the friend in jail did not actually own the vehicle.  Officers showed a photo of the car’s owner and the caller reported that was who he observed taking it.


THEFT REPORT | SE 11TH PL, North Bend

On November 22nd around 10AM it was reported that overnight a blue Dodge Ram was stolen from the driveway. Around 10:30PM the same day the vehicle was found in North Bend “high centered” after being out 4×4’ing and becoming stuck.  The truck was pulled from the location and impounded for safe keeping. One subject was taken into custody.


NOISE COMPLAINT | SE CURTIS DR, Snoqualmie

On November 22nd around 8AM a caller reported their neighbor was purposely revving their engine loudly since 7:30AM. An officer responded and determined it was not purposeful, but rather the neighbor was loading snowmobiles onto his truck.


VEHICLE PROWL REPORT | PINNACLE PL SE, Snoqualmie

On November 22nd around 8AM a car prowl was reported. The vehicle was unlocked and suspects rummaged through the car’s contents.  It was unknown what was taken.


VEHICLE PROWL REPORT | SE WOODY CREEK LN

On November 22nd around 10AM another car prowl was reported. Suspect information was not known. An iPad, $50 and sunglasses were stolen.  The vehicle was also left unlocked overnight.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SE KINSEY ST, Snoqualmie

On November 22nd around 1PM it was reported that five males were loading up items from a bank-owned home on the street. An officer responded and discovered it was a clean up crew hired by the bank who were on site getting trash and misc. items out of the home.


VEHICLE PROWL REPORT | SE 7TH ST, North Bend

On November 23rd at 4:45PM a caller reported their vehicle was prowled the previous Saturday.  A dell laptop was stolen from the unlocked SUV.


CITIZEN ASSIST | OPUS BANK, North Bend

On November 23rd at 6PM an officer responded to a stranded motorist who ran out of gas. The person explained they had money for gas but needed a ride to the station.  The officer gave the motorist a ride “where gas was obtained and car fueled.”


VEHICLE PROWL REPORT | LITTLE SI RESTAURANT PARKING LOT

On November 23rd at 7:20PM a caller reported that their rental vehicle was broken into. The passenger side window was smashed while parked in front of the restaurant.  Multiple items were stolen, including a Surface Pro, Arcteryx pack, $340 worth of clothes from Banana Republic, a passport and a night bag. SPD request that KCSO check the Fall City area for the possible suspect vehicle.


VEHICLE PROWL REPORT | NORTH BEND OUTLET MALL

On November 23d around 7:30PM two vehicles parked near the Nike Store were broken into.  Both had windows smashed and bags with clothing stolen.  A possible suspect vehicle was described a gray Mercedes occupied by two white males in their 20’s. 


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SE CEDAR ST & SE FIR ST, Snoqualmie

On November 24th around 4:30PM some children reported that a possible female child or woman was yelling for help down the road from their location. An officer responded to discover it was actually a goat in a nearby yard making the noise.


DUI/PHYSICAL CONTROL | NORTH BEND McDONALDS

On November 26th at 4:30AM a caller reported that extremely intoxicate subjects in a blue vehicle were urinating in the drive-thru.  An officer responded and located the subjects at the Safeway fuel station where the driver was taken into custody after a breathalyzer test registered a .151 alcohol level.  The car was towed and the driver was put on a 12-hour jail hold.


CRASH AND RUN | STONE QUARRY RD, Snoqualmie

On November 26th around 3:30PM officers responded to a one-car collision in the area.  The vehicle rolled several times and landed in a ditch, but no driver or other occupants were at the scene. Officers contacted Snoqualmie Valley Hospital to see if anyone came in injured, muddy and wet, but that was a negative. The nearby area was searched for the driver that fled the scene. The registered owner was contacted who reported the vehicle had been stolen.


LOST PROPERTY | SE 11TH PL & MOUNTAIN VIEW BLVD SE, North Bend

On November 28th around 3PM a caller reported finding keys near the intersection.  Police booked the keys into evidence for safe keeping.


THEFT REPORT | SNOQUALMIE YMCA

On November 28th around 8PM a caller reported that her purse was stolen from a locker at the YMCA.
