Police Blotter | Trampoline on the fly; transient problem; stopping the party before it starts; stranded and need to get home

Here are a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie over the past two weeks:

NOISE COMPLAINT | OGLE AVE NE, North Bend

On February 16th around 9:10PM, a caller reported multiple vehicles parked across the street playing loud music. An officer arrived and broke up a juvenile party right as people were starting to get there.

CIVIL PROBLEM | RAVEN AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On February 17th around 1:40PM, a caller reported that their neighbor’s trampoline had blown out of their yard, across the road, and hit the reporting person’s car. Damage to the car was estimated at $400.

ACCIDENT/NON-INJURY | TRUCK TOWN, North Bend

On February 19th around 11:45PM, a caller reported that one semi truck had accidentally backed into another while parking. There was some minor damage on private property. An officer assisted in the exchange of information.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SILVA AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On February 21st around 12:20PM, a caller reported that a suspicious person had come to their front door. The police provided the caller with a public direct number into dispatch and instructed her to call back if there is any further activity.

UNWANTED SUBJECT | COFFEE ESPRESSO, Snoqualmie

On February 21st around 2:35PM, a caller reported that a man kept walking back and forth near the bus stop and was making them uncomfortable. Police arrived and moved the man along without any issue. He did seem aggravated but did not meet any criteria for further involvement.

CITIZEN ASSIST | SPD, Snoqualmie

On February 22nd around 12:15AM, a caller contacted police because they were new to the area and needed to get home but didn’t have a car. An officer gave the stranded citizen a courtesy ride home.

TRAFFIC OFFENSE/ WARRANT | BOALCH AVE & 14TH ST, North Bend

On February 22nd around 4:45PM, an officer pulled over a driver and subsequently arrested the male for driving with a suspended license, failure to transfer title and who also had a warrant out of Ephrata. The officer transported the man to the Issaquah Jail.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF REPORT | BENDIGO BLVD , North Bend

On February 23rd around 9:30AM, a caller reported that their back door was open when they arrived home and they were unsure if anything had been taken. The door was left open, there was no forced entry, no further assistance was needed.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SE 144TH ST, North Bend

On February 23rd around 11:55AM, a caller reported that their car window had been shattered but nothing was taken.

UNWANTED SUBJECT | SAFEWAY, North Bend

The manager of Safeway called to report that there was a transient coming in and out of the store, making weird noises, barking at people, and grabbing himself inappropriately. The caller requested that he be trespassed from the location. Police arrived an issued the man a one year trespass from the store. The subject refused to sign the notice but the police gave it to him anyway and assured him he would be arrested if he returned to the store or the parking lot.

THEFT IN-PROGRESS | SAFEWAY, Snoqualmie

On February 23rd around 6:00PM, a caller reported a man had stolen merchandise and ran out of the store. An employee chased him for a while but eventually lost him. Police caught him, trespassed him from the store for one year, took him into custody, and booked him into Issaquah jail.
