Police Blotter | Traffic Stop to DUI; Injury Accident; Welfare Check

April 3, 2023

An officer performed a traffic stop of a vehicle for improper lane change and expired tabs. The driver admitted to using drugs a couple of hours earlier, which triggered a field sobriety test. The subject was booked into Issaquah Jail for DUI, no valid driver’s license, and providing false statements. The driver also had several outstanding arrest warrants.

Officers responded to the report of a missing person in Snoqualmie. An officer searched the area, located individuals near their residence, and escorted them home.

An officer observed two individuals in a vehicle near the Snoqualmie Safeway gas station, possibly smoking narcotics. One subject was arrested for physical control for being under the influence of narcotics and was taken to the hospital for medical clearance but was admitted instead. Charges were forwarded to the prosecutor.  

April 5, 2023

Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident west of downtown North Bend. One driver was transported to the hospital for a medical emergency.

An officer responded to a running vehicle with flashers on with major front-end damage pulled over on the roadside in downtown Snoqualmie. The driver slumped over. The driver was booked into Issaquah Jail for DUI and was given a $300,000 bail by the judge due to this not being his first DUI charge. 

April 6, 2023

An employee reported shoplifting from a North Bend Outlet Mall store, with the lone suspect leaving in a vehicle. A description of the car was provided to officers. $3100 worth of merchandise was stolen. The subject was not located. 

April 7, 2023

An individual reported their vehicle had been broken into at the Salish Lodge. No suspect information was known. $2700 worth of electronics were stolen from the vehicle.

An officer performed a traffic stop near Snoqualmie Point Park for a driver who failed to use their turn signal. It was determined that the driver had several arrest warrants, but none of those issuing agencies would extradite the male driver. Charges were forwarded for driving with a suspended license third degree and an ignition interlock violation. 

April 8, 2023

A caller reported that two people were passed out in a parked vehicle near downtown North Bend with drugs on their laps. Officers contacted the individuals. It was determined one had an outstanding felony arrest warrant for theft first degree. The subject was booked into King County Jail on her warrant. 

April 9, 2023

A female reported that an hour earlier, a male had attempted to lure her into his vehicle with liquor at the North Bend Chevron gas station. She described the man and the associated vehicle. Due to the time delay of the report, officers did not locate the male.
