Police Blotter | shaved down keys; bear smorgasbord; uninvited guest

Here a few calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to last week in North Bend and Snoqualmie.

October 8th – Bear Smorgasbord

Around 10:45PM officers were dispatched to the report of a mother bear and her cub going through the trash in the 36000 block of SE Braeburn Street. When officers arrived the bears were headed back into the woods.

October 9th – Suspected DUI

Around 9:50PM officers on patrol in the area of E 2nd Street in North Bend stopped a vehicle that was driving erratically. The female driver was arrested for suspected DUI and booked into the Issaquah jail.

October 11th – Suspicious Keys

Around 10:45PM officers on patrol in the 7800 block of Pickering Court in Snoqualmie stopped a vehicle for expired tabs. The officer observed a ring of keys – most of which were shaved down – on the floorboard of the vehicle. The male driver was booked into Issaquah jail for possession of burglary tools and the vehicle was impounded.

October 12th – Uninvited Guest

Around 1:30PM officers were dispatched to Pickering Court for the report of a male subject that walked into a female’s apartment uninvited. It was reported that the male was suspected of assaulting the female subject and had left the premises on foot before the officers arrived. He was located in the area and was found to have several pieces of identification in his wallet that did not belong to him. He was booked into King County jail for assault and burglary.
