Police Blotter | Running car parked on my front lawn; butt-dial gun fire; the great puppy masquerade

Here are a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie during the past week.

THEFT IN-PROGRESS | SAFEWAY, North Bend

On October 5th around 6:30PM, a caller reported a theft from the store. Police responded and saw two bottles of alcohol in front of the store broken.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | CURTIS DR SE, Snoqualmie

On October 7th around 5:00AM, a caller reported an unknown car was parked in their lawn with its lights on and the car running. Police arrived and detained the subject – who was previously known to them – and took him into custody for a DUI.

911 PROBLEM | FAIRWAY AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On October 7th around 2:00PM, a 911 call came in where the operator could hear what sounded like gunfire, but no one spoke. An officer called the number back and spoke with a subject who explained that it was a pocket dial, they were shooting air soft guns.

VEHICLE THEFT REPORT | OUTLET MALL, North Bend

On October 7th around 7:30PM, police responded to a report of a mall security off-road vehicle being stolen.

DISPUTE | PRO SKI, North Bend

On October 9th around 2:10PM, caller reported that a known subject came into the store and was harassing customers. After which he left he went to the North Bend Bar and Grill and urinated in front of the restaurant. Police spoke with the manager who requested that the subject be trespassed if he was located.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | NEWTON ST & RAILROAD AVE, Snoqualmie

On October 11th around 8:25AM, a caller reported people exhibiting suspicious behavior, down on their hands and knees and appearing to be covering something whenever people walked by. The reporting person thought they might be doing drugs. Upon investigation, there were no drugs. Rather, the reported subjects had puppies with them and were just trying to shelter them from the rain.
