On December 31st around 9:05PM, a caller reported extremely large fireworks. Police were unable to locate the house where they came from upon arrival and stayed in the area to monitor. ______________________________________________________________________________

On January 1st around 12:30AM, a caller reported a man sitting on a bench for multiple hours because they were worried he was going to freeze to death. Some officers made contact with the man who didn’t want their help, saying he was waiting for a ride to Ellensburg. On January 1st around 2:15PM, police investigated a car parked behind the Mongolian Grill that appeared to have an unresponsive man inside. Upon investigation, they noticed a lot of garbage, animal feces, and a live rabbit inside the car. On January 2nd around 10:35AM, an officer attempted to pull over a subject suspected of drinking and driving. The subject tried to get away but eventually was stopped and taken into custody. He was booked into Issaquah County Jail for DUI and driving without a license. ______________________________________________________________________________

On January 4th around 7:45PM, a caller reported two women for smoking marijuana in public, claiming to have videos of them as proof. Police spoke with the subjects about smoking in public and educated them about the law. ______________________________________________________________________________

On January 4th around 10:00PM, a caller reported that their neighbor’s dog had been outside barking for several hours. The homeowners weren’t home when officers arrived, but a neighbor called them and informed police that they were on their way home and would bring the dog inside when they got there. ______________________________________________________________________________

On January 5th around 3:00PM, officers made contact with a panhandler who had been asked to leave the store twice and issued him a notice of trespass for one year. ______________________________________________________________________________
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE | SW 10TH ST, North Bend
On January 6th around 12:00AM, a caller reported witnessing physical violence between a husband and wife. By the time the police arrived, the husband had left the scene, and was found to be staying at a hotel near Bellevue. Snoqualmie police requested assistance from the Bellevue Police Department, and together they made contact with the subject. He was booked into Issaquah Jail for domestic violence/ assault. ______________________________________________________________________________

On January 6th around 1:45PM, a woman who was angry that her vehicle had been impounded threatened to break into the lot so she could get her belongings from her car. The subject was not on location when police arrived. ______________________________________________________________________________

On January 6th around 10:35PM, a caller reported that a subject stole $80 worth of lighters and spinners from the store. Police were unable to locate them but forwarded charges for a known subject. ______________________________________________________________________________

On January 7th around 7:50PM, a caller reported that her and her husband’s garage door openers suddenly stopped working. Three of her neighbors in the area were experiencing the same thing and believed it to be suspicious. An officer talked with the reporting person and advised her that it was most likely due to a power surge. ______________________________________________________________________________

On January 9th around 8:30AM, a caller reported that the building had been vandalized sometime the day before— the rooster’s head was painted black. ______________________________________________________________________________
FRAUD | CARMICHAEL’S, Snoqualmie
On January 9th around 3:25PM, an employee called to report a woman who attempted to pass a fake $50 bill. She was turned away and left the store with the bill. Police made contact with her and she consented to have her bag searched, where they found another fake $50 bill. She admitted to using a fake bill at the Woodman Lodge the night before. The reporting person at Carmichael’s confirmed the woman’s ID, and the Woodman bartender also remembered her from the previous night. Charges were forwarded to the prosecutor.
