Police Blotter | Possible Drug Deal in Progress; Weapons Offense; Stolen Vehicle Recovery

May 2, 2023

Officers were called to a North Bend neighborhood about a male driver with loud music who was vomiting outside his vehicle. When officers arrived, they found the male was highly intoxicated. He was arrested for DUI. 

May 2, 2023

Officers were called to the Snoqualmie Valley trailhead along SE North Bend Way for a possible drug deal in progress. When officers arrived, they contacted the vehicle occupant and determined the individual had a felony warrant for larceny. The male was booked into King County Jail. 

May 2, 2023

Officers responded to a call from a citizen reporting a suspected intoxicated individual driving a semi-truck. The truck was observed swerving all over the roadway. The caller followed the driver off I-90, at which point the caller made contact and took the driver’s keys. When officers arrived, they observed that the driver had vomited on himself. He was booked into Issaquah Jail for DUI. 

May 3, 2023

An officer initiated a traffic stop and determined the vehicle’s passenger had a loaded 1911 and SKS rifle next to him on the seat. The driver also had a domestic violence warrant. The driver was booked into Issaquah Jail for not having a valid operator’s license and bail jumping. Charges were also forwarded for the vehicle’s passenger. 

May 3, 2023

A male called asking the police for assistance. Officers located him at a North Bend car lot. Employees told officers the man had taken keys and tried to get into several vehicles. Officers located the vehicle the man had arrived in and determined it was stolen in Eastern Washington. The man was booked into Issaquah Jail for vehicle trespass.

May 4, 2023

A citizen reported two subjects were observed getting into a vehicle with a broken back window. The subjects were then seen walking away from the vehicle at the Snoqualmie Safeway.  Officers arrived and determined the vehicle was stolen. Officers performed an area check, but the subjects were not located. The owner recovered the vehicle. 

May 4, 2023

The Snoqualmie Safeway reported that $183 worth of alcohol was stolen from the store. The subject was reportedly wearing a badge and impersonating an officer. The suspect fled in a vehicle and was not located. 

May 4, 2023

A Snoqualmie resident reported the theft of a bike from inside their garage. The garage had possibly been left open. No suspect information was known.

Officers were called to downtown North Bend to check on a male who was slumped over the wheel of his running vehicle. Officers arrived and determined the man was impaired. He was booked into Issaquah Jail for a drug DUI.

May 4, 2023

A North Bend outlet mall store reported a shoplifting incident involving a male who stole $234 worth of merchandise and then pushed an employee while fleeing the store. The suspect was gone when officers arrived. The employee was uninjured. The suspect is still outstanding. 

May 6, 2023

An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense near the intersection of Snoqualmie Parkway and Douglas Ave. Upon checking the driver’s identity; it was determined he had a suspended license and required an ignition interlock device for the vehicle, which he did not have. The male driver also had two non-extraditable outstanding warrants for these offenses. The officer forwarded charges for the offenses. 

May 7, 2023

A caller reported their vehicle was broken into while they were at Snoqualmie Falls. A vehicle window was broken, and a purse and clothing were stolen. No suspect information was known. 

May 7, 2023

It was reported that the back doors on the rear of the North Bend Safeway shopping complex were cut off their hinges. Nothing appeared to have been taken, but several thousand dollars were sustained by the involved businesses. There is no known suspect information.
