Police Blotter | Not Stalker, Just Appaiser; Birds Blocking Road; Shoes Mistaken for Gunshot; Chronic Illegal School Parker

Here are a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie during the second half of October 2015.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SPRUCE PL SE, Snoqualmie

On October 12th at 1PM a caller reported there was a car in the neighborhood taking photos of their home. Police responded to check the area. It appeared the car belonged to a home appraiser collecting info on comparable homes in the area.


THEFT REPORT | FERN AVE SE & COTTONWOOD, Snoqulamie

On October 12th at 7:45PM, a taxi driver reported someone did not pay their fare. An officer responded, but could not find the man who had given a fake credit card and then walked between houses in the area and disappeared.


THEFT IN-PROGRESS  | VANITY FAIR STORE, North Bend Outlet Mall

On October 12 at 6PM, an employee reported a female had stolen a bag full of merchandise and left in a Honda sedan.  The caller knew and identified the subject who was later charged after an investigation into the incident.


MALICIOUS MISCHIEF REPORT | EDGEWICK INN, North Bend

On October 13th at 9:30AM an employee reported someone had thrown a rock through the motel’s laundry room and suspected it was a known subject.  An officer responded and contacted the known subject located behind the motel, who denied involvement.  The business requested the subject trespassed from the property for this and other incidents.  The trespass notice was issued.


HAZARDOUS ROADWAY CONDITION | CEDAR ST & FIR ST, Snoqualmie

On October 14th around 6:30AM, a caller reported police assistance to remove a flock of domestic geese from the roadway. The geese “ran off when confronted.”


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |  ASH AVE, Snoqualmie

On October 14th around 10PM a caller reported hearing a loud bang, possible a gun shot, at the home next door. An officer responded and made contact with the homeowner where the loud bang occurred, who said it may have been someone at the residence banging shoes together.  The incident was reported as “unfounded.”


ALCOHOL-RELATED OFFENSES  |  520 E NORTH BEND WAY

On October 16th around 4AM and employee reported an “unwanted customer” who was belligerent and intoxicated and tried to slap a store clerk.  The store owner did not want to pursue charges as the intoxicated female left the store.


VEHICLE PROWL REPORT |  SNOQUALMIE FALLS PARK

On October 27th around 2PM a caller reported the window of a gray SUV had been smashed.  An officer responded. It was unknown if/what items were missing as the owners were not located.  The officer left a business card with case information.


VEHICLE PROWL REPORT  |  NORTH BEND  TACO TIME

On October 27th at 7:15PM a caller reported that between 5PM and 7PM their car had been broken into and items stolen. The vehicles’ rear driver’s side window was broken out.  The owner’s backpack with college textbooks and a thumb driver worth $240 was taken.  No suspect information was known.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |  SURE SHOT PUB, North Bend

On October 27th around 10PM, a caller reported a male outside in the street trying to flag down cars, worried the FBI was looking for him, and had hacked his phone and computer.  An officer responded, took a report and called the man’s fiancée who picked him up.


THEFT REPORT  | NORTH BEND COACH STORE

On October 28th around 2:30PM an employee reported a wallet valued at $250 was stolen from the store by two known females who left the store on foot.  The store reported it had video footage of the theft.


PARKING PROBLEM  |  NORTH BEND ELEMENTARY

On October 28th at 3:30PM, a caller reported that every day a gray van illegally parks in a handicapped spot at the school.  The caller requested that an officer come to the school at the same time the following day to deal with the illegally parking problem.


MALICIOUS MISCHIEF REPORT |  FAIRWAY AVE, Snoqualmie

On October 29th at 8:45AM a caller reported report that the previous day someone had unscrewed their light bulbs and threw them into the street, and also kicked over their fence.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |  GRAVENSTEIN CT, Snoqualmie

On October 29th at 11:30AM a caller reported that her neighbor has possibly tampered with her transmission, causing all the fluid to leak out overnight.  She did not have any evidence of tampering so the officer advised her to “take it to a mechanic before the police would be involved.”


THEFT REPORT  | NORTH BEND PET PLACE MARKET

On October 30th at 12:45PM an employee reported that a female who frequently steals from the store had just stolen a can of dog food and left the store on foot holding her chihuahua and a large bag.


MALICIOUS MISCHIEF REPORT  |  FAIRWAY AVE, Snoqualmie

On October 31st at 11AM it was reported that overnight someone had vandalized garden items in the callers yard.  A glass flower was broken and two bird feeders were reported missing.  No suspect information was known, but the caller waned the incident documented.


NOISE COMPLAINT  | SPRUCE ST & MEADOWBROOK WAY, Snoqualmie

On October 31st at 7PM a caller reported a loud party with subjects outside.  Officers responded and canvassed the area but were unable to locate the party.  The caller was contacted by police and informed he was mistaken, that the group was just loud trick-or-treaters.
